There were 13 teams at trivia…heck yes! It was a busy night for trivia, that’s for sure. Teams brought their “A game” since we had a lot of high scores. Nicely done everyone!

Here is how the night played out…

1st Place – Yale Tech with 50 points (boo-ya!)

2nd Place – Pouteam! (49 points)

3rd Place – PB Army (tie breaker winner)

02.05.13 - Moans & Groans

As I was explaining round five about “One Letter Off (Animal Edition)” I heard many moans and groans coming from the teams. I threw it out there if the teams bombed that round that I may throw it out altogether. Alas, that was not the case. You guys listened well and put your thinking caps on for that round. A few teams even indicated that as their mega round. Rad! You are smart cookies…just like round three…I did it all for the cookie! The cookie!

And, I’ll give ya some more props. Every team scored 100% on the matching round with TV theme songs.

1st – Jockstrap Jazzercise with 49 points

2nd – PB Army with 48 points (winning the tie-breaker)

3rd – Bi-curious George with 48 points

01.29.13 - Who Knew You Knew All About The Giant Squid

You guys surprised me with your vast knowledge about the Giant Squid, dang! I had no idea! On the other hand, many of you must have been thinking about your own imaginary friend(s) during the image round since the best score was 7/10. Ah well, good times had as always.

Leading the night and coming in first with a score of 50 was PB R ME.

Second place belonged to “the name of their team is just a picture of a dog” with 47 points.

Pouteam! was right behind in third with a score of 46 points.

01.22.2013 - Brain power heats up

Even though it was negative two digits last night, that didn’t stop the 14 teams from coming to play trivia. I heart all you dedicated trivia players.

Rounds one, two, and three were a bit rough, but you guys all made a big comeback in rounds four, five, and six. The “Secret Service code names” still are a big secret since 85% of the teams either got one or none correct.

Taking first place by a landslide was Jockstrap Jazzercise with 51 points.

Winning the tie-breaker and coming in second was BiCurious George with 47 points.

Third place went to PB Army with 47 points.

As always, I will see you next Tuesday at 8:00 pm at the Village Pub.
