2.12 - Phat Tuesday

Yeah, I just used archaic street slang for awesome. So?

A metric shit-ton of teams came out to celebrate trivia last night, but sadly only the drunkest were destined to win. Here are your victors!

In 1st: Mouthful of Crazy with 54 points! They showed up drunk, left drunker, and took the night by storm. Moral of the story, everyone should drink a ton.

2nd Place with 49 points: The Sad Men. There they are. They could be sadder. I'm just sayin.

3rd Place, 45 points: 'Murica! They got a 3-way tie breaker answer on the nose but they peaced out before I could get their picture. So here's George Washington killing zombies. NOTHING IS MORE AMERICA. Aim for the head, George!

In 4th place: The 5th St. Lushes! They could have taken home 3rd place but they were honest and docked themselves a point, putting them in the tie-breaker that they then lost. In recognition of their virtue I gave them some Trivia Mafia swag and took their picture. Some people say honesty is its own reward but fuck those people.

2.4 - Not Your Grandma's Trivia

Last night we learned a lot about grandmas and a little bit about cookies. Let's remember that fondly, shall we?

Mouthful of Crazy zipped into first place after youthful indescretions led our second place team astray. Oh, indescretions, you get me every time. 53 points!

Here they are: the second place youfs of Death-Kwan-Do.  They crushed the first half but got distracted with Pokemon or something and only ended up with 50 points on the evening.

Vagina Wednesday pulled out a double tiebreaker for 46 points and third place! They took prizes from the clutches of a new team, who hopefully will come back next week with revenge on their minds.

1.29 - Friends for Reals

I'm a terrible person so I didn't blog about last week's action that featured an image round of some pretty creepy imaginary friends. That round got me thinking - what if you all are in my imagination? In that case:

1) I guess I'm not really sorry for blogging delinquency and

2) I need to start imagining that Jennifer Lawrence plays trivia at Señor Wong.

Let's go to the winners, real or imaginary as they may be.

Mouthful of Crazy took home first place with 55 points!

Brewtang Clan was hot on their heels with 54 points! If he'd gotten just a single answer correct on the Soundround he'd totes be in first.

Third place were newcomers Napoleon's Noble Organ with 46 points! Terrible picture. Great name.

Gerundial Pursuit - 1.22.13

A new team was amongst us on Tuesday and holy shit, did they kick some ass.

First place went the The Maniacs with 54 huge points, a score good enough to win every week.

Second place was Mouthful of Crazy with 51 points despite a full roster.

Third place wss AIRWOLF, who took victory from the clutches of a kid cuz they are un-fuck-withable.

Platypus Party! - 1.15.13

I gotta admit, I was a little worried when 8:52 rolled around and there was only 1 person on hand to play trivia. Turns out everyone just likes to live on the edge and we had a good crowd for our third night in the 9:00 time slot. Here are your roster of winners!

First place was Mouthful of Crazy with 47 points! After 20 points in the first half it looked like they were going to run away with this thing but then they had a little run-in with the fierce platypus and the window was open for an upset. They held on, but it was close...

Second place with 43 points were the Sadmen (& Sadwomen). I accidentally deleted their picture from my phone so here's a picture of sad Al Pacino.

And in third place we had the return of AIRWOLF! Nice to see these guys again and their 40 points.
