Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 05:13PM In a performance that rivaled the great Frasier-Ali fights of yore, two Titans of Trivia clashed in not one but TWO head-to-head tiebreaker rounds tonight. Matched point-for-point at halftime, the Green Bastards and Fyojar Jarstoyevsky duked it out over the temperature of Death Valley on July 10th, 1913. The Green Bastards eked out victory and recieved a free round of Captain's Drinks for their labors, but the fight had just begun! Bruised, bleeding, punch-drunk and reeling, these two Colossi of Quizzes met again for a final tussle, each tied at 50 mighty points. Alas, the scrappy underdogs Fyojar Jarstoevsky were again felled by the behemithic Bastards, who held onto their heavyweight trivia title for yet another week.
First place by a nose with 50 points, the Green Bastards.
Fyojar Jarstoevsky coulda, woulda, shoulda been a contender. Instead of bums, which is what they are. Just kidding, 50 points is pretty clutch!
47 points for the perpetually traumatized Sandusky's Kids.
Which just leaves those adorable Patch Puppies in fourth with 40 points.
