More Trivia Insanity At Ol' Chi in Apple Valley...

This week of trivia remained true to form, generating some stiff competition within a solid crowd of ruthless trivia minds. Oh, and Al was in attendence, which was a plus. Team “Sh…It Happens!” finally got over the hump and took a first place victory, which is awe-inspiring considering team “Sh…” was only comprised of 1.5 players (the peanut gallery of half drunk locals making up the .5). But this was no route. With 27 points, “Sh…It Happens!” only bested the second place “Swarm” by a single point. I personally thought team “Swarm” was all over this round of trivia. Considering the fact that all contestants this past week and next Wednesday will receive Minnesota Swarm tickets just for flexing their mental muscle and participating in Old Chi trivia, it almost seemed like the night was rigged. I mean, with that kind of completely coincidental joint-promotion, how could you lose? Well, leave it to team “Swarm” to find a way. They came in second with a honest 26 points. In all, it was another great performance exhibited by all teams, and another amazing night of food, service and fun at Old Chicago in Apple Valley!
