Trivia Mafia comes to Granite City!

We're thrilled to announce that Trivia Mafia is coming to Granite City Food and Brewery in Roseville and Maple Grove for their brand new "After Dark" late-night happy hour!

We're bringing trivia nights AND bargo to these great locations beginning October 16, and we couldn't be more excited. Grab a group of friends and come check it out!

Trivia is Tuesday nights at Maple Grove, and Thursday nights in Maple Grove and Roseville.

BARGO is Wednesday nights at both locations, brought to you by our friends at Blingo!

The fun starts at 9 PM. While you're there, enjoy $5 signature cocktails, martinis, margaritas, wine, and more!

Big news in the land of Twin Cities pub trivia:

Trivia Mafia launches at Republic

Republic took over the former Preston's location this spring, and quickly changed the face of 7 Corners with an incredible tap beer selection and a great menu. Trivia Mafia is proud to run a weekly quiz every Tuesday night at Republic. Additionally, our popular "Name That Tune" event will be expanding into Republic soon too!

Saturdays at the 331: Scholasticus Intoxicus and the Drinkin' Spelling Bee

The 331 Club is where Trivia Mafia got its start, so we're very excited about the new events we've got going there. Every first and third Saturday we host the Drinkin' Spelling Bee, the city's most popular adult spelling bee. And every second and fourth Saturday we present Scholasticus Intoxicus, a night of varied pub-style competition ranging from trivia to rock-paper-scissors and charades.

BINGO coming to Senor Wong

Starting July 6, Trivia Mafia will bring bar BINGO to Senor Wong in St. Paul every Wednesday night. But it won't be just any old bar bingo! Details to come.

...and Laborial Day!

Trivia Mafia's favorite holiday, Laborial Day, is back. Celebrate the midway point between Memorial Day and Labor Day with us at the 331 Club in Northeast Minneapolis on July 17, 2011. We'll go on a trivia pub crawl, hunt for the Laborial Stone, roast a pig in the parking lot, and run a great night of 331 trivia on top of it all. Trivia Mafia's 4 Year Anniversary Party Set For Sunday, Jan. 16 at 331 Club

Because the Midwest's Best Trivia Company Only Turns 4 Once......

It's hard to believe it's already been four years since Chuck Terhark and Sean McPherson launched the flagship Trivia Mafia night at 331. Since that fateful January night in 2007, Trivia Mafia has expanded to over 20 events (including Bingo and Spelling Bee!) sprinkled throughout the Twin Cities.

A celebration is in order to mark the milestone. It's going to be off the hook.

Annual Epic Move feat. Chuck and Sean

Every Anniversary Chuck and Sean create a ridiculous short movie with a very loose plot and point, and Sean eventually takes his shirt off. This year is absolutely no exception.

"That's Not Me?" w/ Dessa

If you were at last year's celebration then you may remember this one. Simply put, we're asking questions based on a local celebrity. This year Dessa of Doomtree will be our starlet, competing with a super-fan to see who knows Dessa better. Believe me, it is going to be much closer than you think.

"Hip Hop Charades"

Twinkie Jiggles and Carnage will be rapping clues to the answers of each question during this round. Simply given a noun or noun phrase (ex. Canada, Spanish Inquisition, kangaroos) and a "do not say list" (ex. Toronto/N. America, Monty Python/Holy Grail, Australia/pouch) they will "rap it out" for 60 seconds in an attempt to inform the crowd of the answer.

How It All Began.....

In November of 2006 Chuck Terhark and Sean McPherson were introduced because both Chuck and Sean wanted to start a trivia night. A few short emails later Chuck and Sean had their Google doc opened up and were scouring their brains for the dumbest things they knew. The first trivia took place Sunday January 21, 2007. The night started to grab regulars and became a big success. And soon the tradition of hosting a big party and making a stupid movie every January started.
