    5/14- Y'all got smarts

Last night was some awesome trivia, folks. The sound round was a bit of a debaucle just because of volume, but the image round may have been my favorite ever. Gotta love old school nintendo games.

Colin and Ryan were working particularly hard last night. Hope you all tipped well.

So what did we learn this week? I learned that filet mignon is the same as filet, according to one of the fine cooks at Porterhouse and a trivia regular. They didn't even need the extra point for that, though. We also learned that Thailand used to be called Siam and Frank Lloyd Wright is considered the greatest american architect of all time, as if there were ever a doubt in my mind.

Coming in first with 34 points (a great improvement over last week when I believe they came in nearly last) were the Blue Footed Boobies. They had a perfect image round, which really helped them out.

Second went to the Craigslist Killers with 31 points. Note to all trivia teams, if you're going to keep the same name each week for your trivia team, maybe it shouldn't be a reference to current events. Now you're stuck with it.

Three teams tied for third (Mishakinakwa, Whitening, and Michael J Hawk esq.) but Whitening took home the prize with the most accurate tiebreaker guess I've ever seen. They guessed that Ferris Bueller put 205 miles on Cameron's dad's car, when the correct answer was 204.5. Well done!

Again, thanks for playing and we'll see you all next week!
